Tea for two

A gift for a special little girl.

I got the original pattern from here. However, inspired by the Disney movie Beauty and the Beast, I wanted to give the finished teapot and cups each some eyes and character. Only trouble was hiding the backs of the safety eyes.   I decided to crochet little disks of ‘tea’, which I attached to the tops of the teapot and cups, and this then meant I was able to stuff them.

Next the biscuits! Well of course!

I managed to work up my own versions of  a Jammy Dodger, Custard Cream and chocolate chip cookie before finding a lovely YouTube tutorial and a cupcake magically appeared!

Afternoon tea anyone?
